Pretty nice, eh?  The big transition was compliments of VideoStudio.

I've used literally hundreds of video programs over the years, from tiny single-function apps written by some college kid to the largest video production studios that companies such as Adobe and Sony have to offer, and Corel's VideoStudio is the one I've settled on for my own use.  The fact that it can add screen titles and such is no big deal.  As you can see in the above link, it's the transitions that set it apart.  Even the vaunted Adobe Premiere can't do what you see in that video.

Want to see another example?  Here are two quick scenes from the TV show 'NCIS'.  Click on the small symbol on the tool bar to open it to full-screen size.  Watch for the 'Flash' transition in the middle to denote the passage of time, and the 'sweep' transition at the end to wrap it all up.

Those are two more transitions that you won't see in the vaunted Adobe Premiere.
