Most home repairs aren't as difficult as you might think.  This is especially true with plumbing.  A drippy faucet takes a Phillips screwdriver, a crescent wrench, and two 30-cent rubber washers.  How difficult can it be?

Yes, things certainly can become difficult, but why not give it a try?  It's already broken, right?  So what have you got to lose?
