Intelligence Test I

Think you're smart, don't you?  Well, of course you do.  My God, man — would you be on this site if you didn't?

Well, with that in mind, I'm sure you'll have no problem figuring out how this helicopter stays magically suspended in the air.

Highlight the following with the mouse for the amazing answer:

The speed of the chopper's blades matched up exactly with the frame rate of the video camera.

Intelligence Test II

Okay, here's a toughie.  Figure out how these water droplets stay magically suspended in mid-air.  Your only clues are "MIT" and "magnetic properties".  (I've removed the audio)

Think, man, think!

For the amazing answer, highlight the following with the mouse:

Well, it was either something to do with magnetic properties — or a big strobe light — I forget which!

"Poor Zac Efron!"

I love behind-the-scenes exposés, as I'm sure you do.  For example, have you ever wondered why all those Disney kids are so cute and perky?

Wonder no more.

Kids Will Be Kids

Jeez, the things kids do, huh?  Remember playing around the train tracks when we were young?  It's a wonder we didn't get our asses run over.

Well, some things change over time, but some things don't.  Here's a clip proving that even today kids still like playing around the train tracks.

They're just a bit more creative than we were.

Best Pals

This is one of my all-time favorite clips.  It's just silly enough that you wouldn't call it 'sexist', the production is very nicely done, and, admittedly, the chick is pretty hot.  Watch her adorable expression after he says "choke up."

Chemicular Magic

This shows how to make a bottle of Mountain Dew glow in the dark using a couple of common household items.  The way he spells out his name with the stuff at the end is pretty cool.  This would be a neat party trick, or perhaps something to wow the gang with while out camping.

Winner's Circle

This is a comedian by the name of Louis C.K.  To note here is the big difference between laughter and applause.  Laughter is always nice, but when the audience actually breaks into spontaneous applause because a clever remark has touched a deeper truth, that says something.

Flight of the Angels

Some nice photographic angles in this Blue Angels video:

The Amazing Color Changing Card Trick

Card tricks are always kinda fun.  And they're especially intriguing when you're actually told what to look for ahead of time — and you still don't get the trick!

I've got a perfect example right here.  While you're focusing on the card she drew, it turns out the entire deck has changed color!  All I can tell you is, it's possible to figure out the Amazing Color Changing Card Trick — but you'll have to watch very carefully.

Very carefully.

It's Always Something

Like you, I always find it particularly irksome when I do acrobatic stunts in my airplane and one of the wings suddenly snaps off.  You look out the window and think, "Crap!  I lost another wing!  This is really getting irksome!"

Well, there isn't much to do at that point except get the dang thing back on the ground and glue on another wing.

No big deal.
